How QRFlow works

Create a free account and you get an organization with a default workspace. Workspaces keep brands, locations, or clients separate — every QR code, menu, and asset belongs to exactly one workspace, and you can switch between them from the sidebar.

1. Register with your email — no credit card required.
2. You land on the dashboard with your default workspace ready.
3. Click “Create QR code” and pick what should happen after the scan.

A dynamic QR encodes a permanent short link on our scan service. When someone scans it, we resolve the link in milliseconds, log an anonymous scan event, enforce your access rules, and route the scanner to the live experience. You can change everything behind the code after it's printed.

A static QR encodes the final data directly — a phone number, Wi-Fi credentials, a UPI string. It works offline and forever, but it can't be edited or tracked. Choose static only when you specifically need scanner-side offline behavior.

Every QR code points at an experience. Simple types — phone calls, WhatsApp chats, Wi-Fi, UPI payments, social profiles — are a short form: fill two or three fields and the code is live. Hosted experiences — restaurant menus, business cards, lead forms, feedback surveys, product pages, warranty portals — are full pages we render and host for you.

• Payments: UPI, PayPal, Stripe payment links, and other checkout URLs.
• Hosted modules: menus, business cards, forms, feedback, products, warranties.
• Utilities: Wi-Fi access, locations and maps, app-store links, plain text.

Hosted experiences open in the Canvas builder — a drag-and-drop page editor. Add blocks (headings, text, images, menus, contact actions), pick a theme preset, and pull in your business profile so details like opening hours and social links stay consistent across every page.

The canvas appears only for experiences that render a page. Redirect types like WhatsApp or website links have nothing to design — the scanner goes straight to the destination — so those stay a simple form on purpose.

Every code — static or dynamic — can be styled in the Design Studio: foreground and background colors, module shapes, custom corner eyes, an embedded center logo with mask shapes, and frames with call-to-action text. A live scannability score warns you before a design becomes hard to scan.

• Export print-ready PNG (rasterized at high resolution) or crisp SVG.
• Keep logo coverage at or below 30% — error correction is raised automatically when a logo is embedded.
• Dark-on-light codes scan most reliably; the score flags low-contrast combinations.

Each dynamic code has an Access & Settings panel: protect it with a passcode, set an expiry date, restrict it to an active schedule window, or cap total scans. Rules are enforced by the scan service at the moment of each scan — pausing a code takes effect immediately, no reprint needed.

Every scan on a dynamic code is stored as an append-only event. The dashboard shows totals, unique visitors, 7-day trends, and device, OS, and browser breakdowns — per code and across the workspace. The live view streams scans as they happen, and the scan log keeps the raw history.

Hosted experiences also log their own interactions, like contacts saved from a business card or form submissions, so you can see conversions rather than just visits.

Invite teammates by email from the Team page. Roles — owner, admin, manager, member, viewer — control who can manage billing, members, workspaces, and settings. The audit log records every significant change with who did it and when.

QRFlow is currently in open beta and completely free for everyone. All premium features, custom experiences, workspaces, and design options are fully unlocked with no limits. We will implement pricing tiers in the future, but your existing dynamic QR codes will continue to resolve forever.
